The elastic that I use has been shown to be tough enough on Sue's original bracelet to withstand wear 24/7 for over 18 months and endure the rigors of her job as a teacher, home life and use in prayer, but it is elastic and not metal wire so be aware that it can break if stretched too far or worn all of the time.
Some semiprecious stones will naturally fade with exposure to sunlight. Rose Quartz is one example of stones that will fade. Keep them out of direct sunlight as much as possible.

Q. Why Don't I see Children's Sizes anymore?
Well, you can thank the US Congress for that. They passed a law to 'fix' a problem, but unfortunately, they 'fixed' it good for everyone.
DUE TO the Consumer Product Safety Information Act (CPSIA) St Hubert's Rosary can no longer market Bracelets or other items for children ages 12 or under.
Congress, in response to the lead & phthalates in Chinese manufactured items, passed CPSIA. It requires ALL items sold to children ages 12 and below to have a certificate stating that the item has been tested and found free of lead, phthalates and other chemicals. This takes effect Feb 10, 2009.
Because we are a small family business and cannot afford such a massive expense in testing each item, we can no longer market any item for children ages 12 and under. Jail time and $100,000 fines are just not something we want to be considering.

Q. I decided to wear my rosary bracelet all the time, even though you said not to wear them in the shower. Now the elastic is starting to lose its stretch! I do like wearing it and don't want to buy a new one. Can you restring it for me?
Yes, I can restring your bracelet for you. If you live in the US, return it to me, with $4.95 (a $1.50 for the elastic & restringing & $1.75 for return postage and insurance at $1.70) and I'll restring it for you and send it back.
Just email me first so I know to expect it.
